Connecting the app to your server
- Same network: Your phone and your ProjectX42 server must be on the same Wi-Fi.
- Use the server's address: Enter your server's real address, for example
http://192.168.1.50:8123— notlocalhost. - Auto-discovery not finding it? Tap Enter address manually and type the address.
Troubleshooting
The app won't connect to my server.
Check that the server is powered on, that your phone is on the same Wi-Fi, and that you
typed the correct address. If your network blocks the connection, make sure port 8123
is open on the server.
I see a security warning when installing the app. When you install an app from outside an app store, your phone may show a warning. This is normal — choose to continue the installation.
The app still shows old content after an update. Close and reopen the app, or clear the app's cache in your phone settings.
